“Yuck ”

“This was the worse looking hotel room I’ve ever been in. The ceiling was warping and cracked, the paint was chipped and falling, and the cover and sheets didn’t look well washed and pressed. I was in a nonsmoking room, but it was right next to a smoking room so I could smell cigarettes and weed. The staff was friendly, but hopefully I won’t have to stay here again”

“Pet friendly and easy to get to but the rooms are very cramped, outlets by bed didnt work, when I used a paper towel to wipe up something off the floor it came back black like the floors never get mopped. Hardly ever anyone actually at the front desk, have to call them by phone to come down and always prompt but just found that odd. Coffee machine in lobby appears out of service with no coffee cups. Very thin walls can hear everything around you and there were multiple people jsut letting dogs...

“The staff was friendly. The property is nice with a pond out back and back porch to relax on. Plenty of free parking”

“Water from the faucet in the tub was yellow. And floors had not been vacuumed. The AC worked very hard to keep the room cool and the staff was very inattentive and did not seem to care about guests checking in as they were either watching TV or on the phone with friends and or family while I was checking in. Lobby did not smell the cleanest and the breakfast was poorly displayed.”

“This was my first stay at this hotel. I’ve been visiting Elizabeth City for 5 years now. Excellent service, if I had to share any con, it would be that the tiny night light on my headboard didn’t work. I highly recommend it!”

“Property close to a function I attended. Friendly informative staff. Room clean and neat. Hall bathroom in lobby neat. Breakfast inside building very convenient. Plenty of choices. Staff kept items well stocked. Have stayed at this location twice and recommended to relatives. Would use again when in the area.”

“Breakfast was the only redeeming quality. We were told at check in that the hot tub was out of order for the duration of our stay, which was a huge selling point when picking this hotel. The shower had terrible water pressure and black mold. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the walls are very thin. On our second night, the elevator call button was broken. Will not be staying here again.”
